Wednesday- July, 16th- Summertime, Busy And Fun!!!

I thought you worked in a nursing home..did you change to private practice? My sister does private stuff but for a bunch of different people. One time when we where visiting my parents, she was over and said she was going to the store. DeWitte asked her to get him some cookies and she made a point in asking what kind..she said she works with a bunch of picky senior citizens everyday..you have to make sure you get it right or you'd be sorry.

And speaking of nursing home work...our friend was over this weekend, he's an RN. He was talking about his nursing home time and said it was the hardest work he's ever done...apparently the residents are really demanding, so kudos to you for either job.

I'm glad to see you're taking some time off...working that hard isn't good for you.
Jamie, I am working in a nursing home, but through the company I work for- Home Instead Senior Care, The family of the woman I stay with at the nursing home, hired me as her private sitter and companion through the company I work for, I have been staying with her for 8 months now. She is extremely demanding, This nursing home is where very wealthy people live, they are all demanding and some are downright rude.
Thanks, and yes, I am getting to the point where I can't do it 7 days a week and never take a day off, it's just to much, I have got to preserve my own health, and
peace of mind.
Miss you, Tam.....
I've missed you too Connie :)
Your niece plays guitar AND piano? WOW! What a talented and smart young lady!
Sounds like you are having a good summer. Enjoy your family and spend all the time you can with them.

I agree that you made a good choice to send some time with your family...I've been having a wonderful morning catching up with my VOX neighbours. Sometimes it's important to just have fun and live. It reminds us why we'r working so hard in the first place.

Oh, and I love the water lillies. Aren't they just beautiful?

Wow, you sure have been busy, but it sounds like a good busy! It's smart for you to be taking a day off every so often, especially since you were (or still are mostly) working 7 days a week. Have fun%2Pr
Hi Stephel, I was off again today- Yay!!!! I am enjoying having one day off every 2 weeks!!! I just slept in this morning, went to the bank, grocery store, drugstore, did laundry, then just hung out with my husband this evening, ordered dinner out and watched TV, Oh- and I planted some flowers down the side of my Townhouse just before it came a good thunderstorm this evening, too :)
Thank you, I think I made the right decision, I need that day off every 2 weeks, I
need time to spend with my sisters, nieces, nephews, and husband, also- some time to be still and quiet for a short time, for myself.
I love the water lillies, too- my sister has some in her double goldfish pond, and they are lovely, so I found this picture to put up, because I really like them, I'm glad you like them, too.

Great to hear from you :)
Oh yay, you're going to have to take pics of your flowers! Sounds like you had a great day off :D
Oh....I did have a great day off!!!! My camera that goes with my computer is broke, so I have to use cheap disposable cameras right now, but- I'll get some photos of the flowers :)
I have certainly enjoyed my time with the nieces and nephews swimming, they are so fun to be around!!! I have enjoyed the time with my sisters, too!!! My DH has been fussing at me for what he calls- "playing on the computer too much." So, I have not been coming online as often lately. However, if I'm not online, he's either glued to the TV, or sleeping, so- I don't know what harm it does if I blog. I showed him my blog, and my friends blogs, so that he would know exactly what I was doing, and I sit in the same room with him when I am online. Oh..well.

Have a great week Tom :)
Oh...And the saxaphone, she is gone to UNCG's summer band program this week, for great young musicians. She was accepted into the program this year and last year, too!!!! She plays in the marching band for the Trinity High School.
I'm may be her aunt, but- she is really talented!!!

Have a great week Lavender :)
Holy Cow that is AWESOME!!! Congrats to her for all the hard work she has put into music! Wow!
I don't know if your Walgreens does this, but at mine, you can get a set of prints and a cd for about the same price as doubles. Have fun with your camera
