I have coughed, sneezed, wheezed, and have a fever. I have not slept in the past 2 nights , because of coughing, sneezing, and wheezing. It started out as allergies or a cold, then my asthma started acting up, and I haven't been able to breath, I have been using my Combivent inhaler, taking Ibuprofen for the fever, and using cough drops for coughing, I feel like I have been beat with a ball bat, my ribs are so sore from coughing, my nose is sore from blowing it, and my eyes are swollen and very puffy.
I am going to the doctor today, I can't stand this and going to work, too. So, I'm off to see the doc. and get some relief, I think it has turned into a chest infection, now. That's what it feels like, and that it what usually happens when I get a cold or allergies that get my asthma messed up bad, where I can't breath.
I'm going to bed now, we'll see if I can sleep any.

Oh, I was hoping for snow over night- no such luck, we got a mess of ice instead!  It's pretty to look at the ice in the trees- but not to drive to work in, or get out and walk around in. It's windy and cold,too. The wind
makes it feel a lot colder than it really is-Brrrr!!!
I'm heading off to work soon, so I'll catch up with you all later.

Today was good at work- but the wind and temperatures were bad- it didn't get above 35 degrees all day.
It is supposed to get down to 17 degrees tonight and tomorrow night,too!
My workplace called and asked if I could work through Monday, because one of the other workers is sick- so I told them sure. So, I'm on second through next Monday night, that's good- I can use the extra time. Oh,
when I got in from work tonight, my daughter informed me we needed cat food, so back out into the cold we went to the store, to get cat food- Brrrr!!! I couldn't wait to get back home for the night where it was nice
and warm. so, now I'm all warm and comfy, and settled in for the night. I think I'm going to turn in now.

My day went very well. I went in to work at 3pm, to stay with my Little Lady at Piedmont Retirement Center,
she was happy to see me, she was ready to go into the day room- to play Dominos until dinner time, i had to wrap her in blankets though,she stays cold all the time. We had a really nice evening, we played Dominos until dinner time at 5pm, then we went in and had dinner with the ladies on her hall, they are all very nice and friendly-so pleasant to be with. After dinner, my Little Lady tickled me, she said she wanted a cup of coffee and another round of Dominos- I told her, she was getting really good at beating me LOL!!! and we headed back to the day room for another round- she beat the socks off of me LOL!!! By about 6:45pm, she was ready to go to her room to watch some TV and get ready for bed, so we headed back to her room, her CNA got her ready for bed and tucked in,and we watched TV and talked, later she wanted me to read to her a while,so I read to her some from a book her other companion had already began.I'm
becoming very fond of my Little Lady, she is so sweet- and has a good sense of humor,also. Today was such a nice day, but it was cold here,too cold to take her out today. I think I might be able to take her outside on Monday and Tuesday, it's supposed to be back up in the upper 60's, I hope so, she loves to go outside.
