Hi my friends, I haven't been around for a few days. I am still sick with this respiratory infection, and been going to work, coming home and just going to bed early. I'm just trying to get over this mess. Now, my husband has it, he is so sick, poor thing, he already uses oxygen to breath, he's been feeling really bad, doctor has him on antibiotics, and using the Nebulizer, also. He's just had to lay around on the couch and rest and not do anything, except stay on that oxygen.

I was awake again all night last night coughing, wheezing, and sneezing, aarrgghh!!! So, I went to the Doctor today, waited an hour and a half to see him, and he checked me over, and gave me a (breathing treatment) and put me on antibiotics, and told me to use my inhaler, too. He told me I had another bad respiratory infection, with asthma and Bronchitis. So, He told me to give myself (breathing treatments) at home with the Nebulizer, 3 times a day, take the antibiotics, take the inhaler, use Ibuprofen for fever, and try to rest and drink plenty of liquids. I hate getting these stupid respiratory infections, but I do get them, once in a while because I have asthma and allergies.
I hope this stuff helps fast, I feel like crud, the (breathing treatments) help good for a short while, now- I'm just waiting for those antibiotics to kick in. I'm going to stay home a few days to get better.

I have coughed, sneezed, wheezed, and have a fever. I have not slept in the past 2 nights , because of coughing, sneezing, and wheezing. It started out as allergies or a cold, then my asthma started acting up, and I haven't been able to breath, I have been using my Combivent inhaler, taking Ibuprofen for the fever, and using cough drops for coughing, I feel like I have been beat with a ball bat, my ribs are so sore from coughing, my nose is sore from blowing it, and my eyes are swollen and very puffy.
I am going to the doctor today, I can't stand this and going to work, too. So, I'm off to see the doc. and get some relief, I think it has turned into a chest infection, now. That's what it feels like, and that it what usually happens when I get a cold or allergies that get my asthma messed up bad, where I can't breath.
I'm going to bed now, we'll see if I can sleep any.

Good morning everyone! I rested yesterday, and coughed, shivered, ached, rolled and turned, and used a million Kleenexes!!! I am so grumpy, from being sick, and not being able to sleep, I'm like a deranged grizzly bear LOL!!! And, my DH has been of no help, won't even warm me a bowl of soup, or make me something to drink. I was up Saturday night, during the night several times, thirsty, coughing, and just decided to sit up a bit. I ended up drinking, all the orange juice in the house. I laid back down for a while,
and slept for a little while. Then, Sunday afternoon, late- I ran out of anything to drink, and didn't have anymore soup, so- I forced myself to get dressed, and go to the store, and got some more soups, orange juice, vitamins, yogurt, bananas, Kleenex, and, of course- more kitteh food. I came home and ,put the stuff up, and sat down, and just looked at my DH, he was watching the car race, so, I just fixed me something to drink, and called my sister, Marcia and talked to her a little while. Then, Jenni called me later to check on me, we talked a little while, I sure do miss her!
Well, I'm supposed to go back to work on Tuesday afternoon,LOL!!! Better be some kind of quick recovery, between now and then. I already have to go out tomorrow, and fax a copy of my doctors note, to my workplace, because they said- they had to have one. So, I guess if I'm not better by tomorrow afternoon, I need to go back to Med Central and see the doctor, so I don't lose my job. This flu is a nasty one. I certainly hope I'm feeling better by tomorrow afternoon.

Well, came home from work last night, shivering all over, coughing, aching, runny nose, and checked my temperature- it was 102 degrees! I am so sick, I shivered all night, coughed, wheezed, sneezed, and was aching all over. I called in to work, as soon as they opened this morning, to let them know I wouldn't be in. Now, I've got to force myself to muster up the strength to go to Med Central, and get something for this. I think I have the flu, everyone at the nursing home is sick with something, right now. I just got over a respiratory infection about a week or so ago. I feel awful, I am so tired of being sick.
Well, I am going to go to try and get ready to go to Med Central, And get some relief from this mess.

Well, I have a respiratory infection, along with the ear ache- so, I took today and tomorrow off. I feel like I have been hit by a Mac Truck. My chest is full of congestion, my sinuses are all messed up, and my stupid ear won't stop hurting. I've went to Med Central this morning, the doctor gave me a breathing treatment, and some antibiotics to take. I have a Nebulizer here at home, so the doctor told me to take some more breathing treatments, 3 a day, until I get better. I have the vials of medicine for that already, as I have asthma and Bronchitis a lot. So, I've just been hanging out here at home since I got back from the doctor, I've been drinking hot tea, and reading blogs. Not doing much of anything. Just Going to rest and try to get better.
